How much do I love Keith Olbermann? On Palin's speech: "People who like this sort of thing... will find this to be... the sort of thing they like."

I love the guy, but he is sort of fuel for the Republicans' attack-the-media-by-calling-it-liberal fire.

As a journalist in training, it irritates me sometimes the way he so obviously leans, much in the same way Fox News' exists on the other side of the spectrum.

Then I remember that most of what Olbermann says is true, regardless of spin, and that's how I justify watching. He just can't help being so damned passionate.

I think Rachel Maddow is much better at playing it straight when she's supposed to, even though her bias is evident as well.

I see your point and agree, but in this case, I don't care. He's right; it was a hateful speech and that will appeal to hateful people. For people who aren't so easily led by intolerance... hopefully not.
